Seven is one of those movies based on gruesome murder with a serial killer who has his theory about the world and the way he reciprocates his thoughts and ideas are very chilling to individuals but according to him he wants people to accept the reality.

5. Inside Man

Inside Man” Begins as a no holds barred, Higher octane action-thriller, and from its midpoint Completely transforms into a breezy, tongue-in-cheek heist Film. A bank robbery in New York has gotten out of control, and it is up to police officers Keith Frazier (Denzel Washington) to act as a hostage negotiator and receive the bank private and customers out securely before things turn much worse than they already are. The Oxford Murders is a story about Martin, who goes to Oxford to attend the lecture from his inspirational mathematician Mr Seldom. Martin barely settles down in Oxford- when a series of mysterious murder starts taking place in Oxford. Martin, along with Mr Seldom team up to solve the murder mystery.

7. Gone Baby Gone

A film that can blow your mind and your reactions would be such that you wouldn’t regret watching this good detective movie. All credit to the man behind the movie Ben Affleck, who seldom disappoints with most of his film, whether it’s acting or direction. A story about a four-year-old kid’s life, who is lost and the authorities fail to locate her. The aunt of the girl approaches a detective, to take over the case and help find the kid.  Now, the story lies will the detective be able to find the girl, or  will it would be a big failure—a very well scripted and a presentable  detective film to watch.

8. Zodiac

Many movie buffs disagree with the ending as the serial killer was not revealed in the film. However, basis of the research and the pathfinding of the movie it is based upon a real incident, where a mysterious killing was unresolved. So Zodiac lives upto the expectation of a perfect crime mystery, which keeps you hooked and fulfils the exact result that one would be hoping out of a thriller drama. For 25 decades, a serial killer known as the Zodiac maintained the whole of San Francisco living in dread. The authorities find it difficult to track the serial killer; two journalists decide to intervene in the investigation and help the police in tracking the serial killer. However, it’s not an easy catch since the killer is way smarter than them.

9. Fracture

An accused of the murder of his wife-an attorney picking up the case and finds it to be a very easy case to win and punish the accused. But, the table turns out, and it becomes a tough fight for the attorney to win the case. Something very intense, and goofy where a court room drama creates the momentum and brings twist after twist to grab viewers’ attention. Fracture is a nicely framed thrilling and an exciting detective movie you might to want to watch-if you haven’t yet seen it.

10. Brick

Brick is an underrated gem which didn’t get much of public attention. The film is about Joseph gordon-levitt hears that an old girlfriend of his has been in trouble and then she turns up dead so he decides to investigate what was going on with her in her past life. His zeal of investigating the murder of her ex-girlfriends lands him to many problems.

I am sure you must have heard about the movie; however, if you still haven’t yet watched the film, you are missing a masterpiece. Shutter Island is undoubtedly the best detective movie of all time you could ask for to watch, the film had all raving positive words of mouth. A story about two detectives being sent to an island to investigate the disappearance of patients who were getting treatment in an asylum situated on the Island. The two, while doing the investigation, finds shocking revelation on the Island.
